We are seeking an Art & Photography Technician to join our dedicated department at Co-op Academy Belle Vue. In this vital role, you’ll provide technical support to the Art department, helping to ensure our workshops and learning environments are safe, well-equipped, and inspiring spaces for students to explore their creativity and build practical skills.

You’ll work closely with teaching staff to prepare materials and resources for lessons, maintain equipment, and support the smooth running of practical sessions. Your attention to detail, organisation, and proactive attitude will make a real difference in the delivery of high-quality lessons and student outcomes.

We’re looking for someone who:

• Has a genuine interest in supporting young people and fostering a love of art & photography
• Is highly organised and methodical, with experience of maintaining tools, equipment and materials in a workshop setting.
• Has a strong understanding of health and safety procedures in a creative environment.
• Can work independently as well as part of a wider team, with a flexible and proactive approach.
• Communicates clearly and effectively with students, staff and external contacts.
